Readme on Supplemental data of Hajima et al. (2024) [created: 2024/12/03]
The global carbon budgets simulated by 14 CMIP6 Earth system models
for both concentration- and emission-driven historical runs (C-HIST and E-HIST, respectively).

-File name:
      data.sm.{Model name}.txt

-Models:
	12 models for C-HIST & E-HIST (ACCESS-ESM1-5, CESM2, CNRM-ESM2-1, CanESM5, CanESM5-CanOE, EC-Earth3-CC, GFDL-ESM4, MIROC-ES2L, MPI-ESM1-2-LR, MRI-ESM2-0, NorESM2-LM, UKESM1-0-LL )
	& 2 models (IPSL-CM6A-LR & CMCC-ESM2) for C-HIST only

-Data format:
      - text with commas for the delimiter
      - Columns
      	"Year"  : From 1850 to 2014
      	"CD_CFF": Cumulative compatible fossil fuel emission [PgC], concentration-driven
      	"CD_CO2": Atmospheric CO2 concentration (prescribed forcing data) [ppmv], concentration-driven
      	"CD_CCL": Cumulative carbon uptake by land [PgC], concentration-driven
      	"CD_CCO": Cumulative carbon uptake by ocean [PgC], concentration-driven
      	"CD_TAS": Anomaly of global surface air temperature [K], concentration-driven
      	"ED_CFF": Cumulative fossil fuel emission (prescribed forcing data) [PgC], emission-driven
      	"ED_CO2": Atmospheric CO2 concentration [ppmv], emission-driven
      	"ED_CCL": Cumulative carbon uptake by land [PgC], emission-driven
      	"ED_CCO": Cumulative carbon uptake by ocean [PgC], emission-driven
      	"ED_TAS": Anomaly of global surface air temperature [K], emission-driven

-Note:
      - All variables are corrected using the drifts that are evaluated in the corresponding pre-industrial control run
      - In the calculation of "CD_CFF", the mass imbalance of global carbon in each model is considered (See Appendix of the article)
