I have received two reviews of your manuscript titled Typhoons exert significant but differential impact on net carbon ecosystem exchange of subtropical mangrove ecosystems in China. Based on the reviews and my own evaluation, a minor revision is required before the manuscript can be accepted for publication in Biogeosciences.

In your response to the #2 comment of Reviewer #4, you explained how rainfall reduces the salinity and then influences CO2 flux. Did you add this into the Discussion? If not, you should add this into it.

Figure 4 caption: explain what the different numbers of stars mean.

All the minor problems below should be properly addressed. There could be other problems that I did not notice. I strongly suggest that after all the following corrections are made, the senior author, Dr. Lin, read the manuscript word by word again to identify and correct potential language-related issues.

Line 2: Add "an" after "play".
Line 3: Again, litter should be little.
Line 7: Change "FLUXNET" to "the FLUXNET database".
Line 16: Switch "not only" and "could".
Line 20: change "exchanges" to "exchange".
Line 21: remove "was".

Page 5:
Line 2: change "resulted in" to "resulting in".
Line 10: remove the first "and" and add "that" before "limit".
Line 16: add "the" before "Asian monsoon".
Lines 19-21: You are criticizing previous studies, which typically should be avoided. Rephrase it as: "However, the relationships among different tropical cyclone disturbances, microclimates and the carbon budgets of ecosystems are not well understood."

Again, particular attention should be paid to the writing after all these changes are made.

In addition, the authors are advised to use line numbers continuously throughout the entire manuscript rather than to start over from each page, which will make the job of the reviewers and the editor a little easier.
