I would like to ask you to make one minor addition: the first reviewer suggests to add references to the papers of e.g. Katsev et al., 2006 and Hufer and Lewandowski, 2008 to support the statement on the importance of long term burial etc. In the current manuscript only the latter paper is referenced. Given the relevance of the former paper, I would suggest that you also include a reference to the Katsev et al., 2006 paper.
